I’m a disgruntled employee!!!

MY JOB SUX!!!

This picture understands me....

So I recently found something interesting about the company I work for…. they don’t believe in paying their employee’s over time. I’m not sure what that is that but I’m somewhat annoyed with this. Not only I’m over worked and under paid, I’m being screwed out of my entitled pay as well.

I’m not sure how that’s fair if I worked 6 days a week, 13 hours a day, and not be compensated for it! Just doesn’t make sense to me. I apparently work for a company that doesn’t care about their employee’s quality of life and the time spent doing crap work with no adequate staff. Let’s just say a task that needs 6 people (3 hours) to finish assigned to 3 people (only 4 hours). Sounds like a productive little group of people but all it does is that it makes a small group of employees over worked, under paid (no over time) and somewhat disgruntled.

I wouldn’t have been so annoyed by this if it was a one time thing, but since this is something that happens all the time it makes me angry that, lets say people in charge, do not learn from their mistakes. They whine about it, scream at people for doing a half asses job and at the end they still don’t give the resources needed to correct the situation for the next time. The situation is a combo of catch 22 and you’re damned if you do it and damned if you don’t. I just wished people who whine so much and are not happy by the results of our work could get their things together and work the long hours of hard work and not having enough help so they would understand what we go through.

God, I need a new job that fulfills me with joy, and creativity and gives me better pay!!!! lol

p.s.: read this page too, its about being a bad boss and a poor manager.

I’m sorry, you don’t have the criteria….

Mr. Right

I haven't found Mr. Right but I found all the rest of them! lol

Everybody I know has a list in their head when it comes to their potential mates. It could be a physical need or personality or mixture of both them. Some people are more forgiven and flexible when it comes to their lists than others. Let’s say they’ll sacrifice the height requirements for bit more of a colorful personality, swapping 6 packs with a bit of belly and a fat wallet (uhem, Gold Digger!!! haha), you get the idea.I never actually consciously made a list, I’m more of a go with the flow girl but I have standards! hahah

I thought it would be maybe fun to make list to see if I can figure out what I like in a men. I dated enough of them, been in relationships and by now I should have an idea….

So, here it goes…

- Age – I have 5 yr age limit, I find it I get along with my generation better than the older ones.

- Some one who’s ambitious in their work life, but no workaholics.

- I’m not picky about the physical attributes, dated tall ones, short ones, fit ones and not so fit ones. I always said as long as they’re not smaller than me, we’re good to go! lol

- Interesting personality, I want to learn new things from him. I’m all about actually growing up and learning new things together.

- Creativity and being handy is very important, I’m always running around with new projects and I want a partner who can hold up their own when it comes to these types of things.

- World traveler, I was lucky enough to travel all around the world and experience new cultures and things and I want someone who enjoys taking off for a week to go city hopping.

- Family guy, good relation with his family. Well, within reason, I’ve heard in-laws could be in the way sometimes. haha

- He has to have his own friends and a life outside of a relationship, I find couples who just hangout with each other annoying and boring.

- This point is a little shallow maybe but I find it important, he MUST have a car!!! I drive myself everywhere and sometimes I enjoy being driven around. If you’re wondering, yes I like nice cars, no room for negotiation on this one! :S

- Last criteria is one of the most important ones in my list and it’s the dumbest one.lol, I can not stand hairy men! Sorry guys, chest hair, back hair make me a bit grossed out. :(

Hmmm, I can’t think of other things…so far I’ve been lucky to stay true to this list but finding a healthy ratio of the above criteria is very tricky. I have to be honest though make this list was fun though because it made me think of all the good attributes of boyfriends past and what attracted me to them. So cheers guys for making my list and thanks for making it easier to find Mr. TdotRight! :)

p.s.: The list was made with the understanding that the following groups got no chance: drunks, druggies, criminals, psychos, bums and etc. Just wanted to put that out there..lol…

Loan $25 to change lives through Kiva

24 Oct

So I’m always online searching through many fantastic websites with great ideas to help make people’s lives easier..I’m thinking BIG ideas here…and I like to share one of them with you all.
I wanted to let you know about Kiva, a non-profit that allows you to lend as little as $25 to a specific low-income entrepreneur across the globe.

“You choose who to lend to – whether a baker in Afghanistan, a goat herder in Uganda, a farmer in Peru, a restaurateur in Cambodia, or a tailor in Iraq – and as they repay their loan, you get your money back.  It’s a powerful and sustainable way to allow someone to lift themselves out of poverty.”

I read through their entire site and I found it very interesting how $25 can make such a difference. There are always risks involved too. I’m a bit foggy about their repayment and what if the person you’re loaning it to wasn’t able to repay your money but then again, it just might be my ESL (English as a second language) hahahaha….

I’m planning to sign up and lend my first $25 and see how it works. Never hurts to help another fellow mankind….so I will put updates about my donation and let you all know how it goes.

Lady bug on window

So….today was super warm in Toronto (16 degrees). We all know, when its warm lady bugs come out to play….

eeeiiiiishhhh…. I really hate lady bugs, they were crawling all over my windows and outside walls. I had to run aroudn make sure all the windows are tightly closed and doors are closed…ugh….they might be cute but they are scared of NOTHING..and when you step on them they make the crunchiest noise everrr……ewww…

My mom says they are good for the envirnoment and eat all the bad bugs, but I think they’re just there to be in cute kids stories as a single woman type who knits alot! lol…

Too bad I didn’t have my good camera around to take a better picture so you guys are stuck with the crappy picture for now! :)
